Restfulness in Nature - February 14th
Ward’s Pond at Olmsted Park

This glacial kettle-hole pond is an excellent urban oasis for native plant and wildlife species. Enjoy a stroll through this beautiful park and relax through gentle movement and meditative moments.

Art in Nature - March 14th

Mount Auburn Cemetery

Visit incredible monuments, architecture, and wonderfully curated gardens to foster your appreciation for art in natural spaces. Trails are paved and travel over gentle hills.

 

A Little Spring in Our Step! - April 11th

Arnold Arboretum

Enjoy gentle hills and all the spring blossoms and buds you could think of on this adventure through the Arnold Arboretum.

 

Avian Adventures at Cutler Park Reservation - May 9th

Cutler Park Reservation

This 1.5-mile trail features boardwalks twisting over 600 acres of uplands and wetlands, complete with excellent birdwatching. There are a few tripping hazards, such as rocks and small logs, along the way. Binoculars will be provided for this birding excursion!

 

Restfulness in Nature - June 13th

Houghton Gardens

This curated collection of native and ornamental plant species is an excellent urban oasis. Enjoy a stroll through this beautiful park and relax through gentle movement and meditative moments.

 

Pre-registration is required. All walks include optional transportation to/from the Brookline Senior Center (departing Brookline Senior Center at 10:00 AM) – each walk runs from 10:30 AM to around 11:30 AM, with return to the Brookline Senior Center around 12:00 PM
